Taylor England was selected the Frontier Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season.
England, a 6-7 forward from Helena, Mont., averaged 21.0 points and 10.5 rebounds, and 3 steals per game in a pair of Oredigger victories over Rocky Mountain College and Montana Western this past weekend. England's two double-doubles were his sixth and seventh of the season.
England shot an impressive 61% (16-for-26) from the field and 90.9% (10-for-11) from the free throw line in the two wins. Montana Tech's margin of victory in their 81-53 win over Rocky was the largest Frontier Conference win in the program in at least 16 years.
England has scored 20-plus points in each of Montana Tech's last four games.
The Orediggers are on the road this weekend taking on University of Providence in Great Falls on Friday January 31
st and MSU-Northern in Havre on February 1
st.
