Three Orediggers Named Preseason All-Conference

WHITEFISH, Mont. – Montana Tech's men's and women's basketball teams were well represented placing three athletes on the Frontier Conference preseason all-conference teams.

Montana Tech's seniors Sindou Diallo and Taylor England were named to the men's preseason all-conference team and Mesa Williams was named to the women's preseason all-conference team.

Diallo, a 6-3 guard from Tacoma, Wash., was the second leading scorer in the Frontier Conference averaging 19.1 PPG while shooting 48.5 percent from the field a season ago. Diallo was selected all-conference and an honorable mention All-American.

England, a 6-7 post from Helena, Mont., was sixth in the league in scoring averaging 15.2 PPG, second in field goal percentage shooting 56.9 percent from the floor, second in rebounding averaging 9.0 RPG, and third in steals averaging 1.57 SPG. England was selected all-conference and an honorable mention All-American.

Williams, a 5-10 forward from White Sulphur Springs, Mont., was the fourth leading scorer in the Frontier Conference averaging 15.1 PPG and shooting 43.4 percent from the floor. Williams is a two-time honorable mention All-American.

University of Providence's Zaccheus Darko-Kelly and Parker Esary were the conference's unanimous Preseason Players of the Year.

The preseason all-conference teams were selected by the league's coaches who were not permitted to vote for their own players.
