Scouting the Lights
The Lights of MSU-Northern (15-9, 5-7 Conf.) come to Kelvin Sampson Court riding with three straight wins under their belt including a 57-50 home victory over the Orediggers. The Lights are led in scoring by Mascio McCadney who averages 14.7 PPG while Kavon Bey (14.4 PPG) and Adam Huse (11.6 PPG) can also light it up on any given night. Adam Huse is the son of Oredigger Hall of Famer Brad Huse and the older brother to Oredigger hooper
Drew Huse and plays for his uncle Shawn Huse who is sixth all-time in scoring at Montana Tech with 1,389 points. The Lights lead the nation in Assist/Turnover Ratio (+1.79) and are fourth in Scoring Defense per Game (64.4 PPG).
Scouting the No. 11 Argos
The Argos of the University of Providence (20-4, 8-4 Conf.) are ranked 11th in the nation and are led by one of the NAIA's top all-around players in Zaccheus Darko-Kelly. Darko-Kelly leads the Argos in every major statistical category (21.7 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 5.6 APG, 2.4 SPG, 1.5 BPG). Providence is second in the NAIA shooting 77.4% from the free throw line and fourth in Assists per Game (19.4). The Argos are coached by longtime Frontier coach Steve Keller.
Last Second Upset
Montana Tech defeated No. 8 University of Providence on two weeks ago on a rebound put back by
Derrius Collins with 2.5 seconds left in the game. The Orediggers 82-80 victory over the Argos was the team's first win against a Top-25 team this season and was the first time the Argos have been defeated on their home floor.

Taylor England scored his 1,000th career point on Saturday night against Lewis-Clark State. The Helena native is averages 15.8 PPG, 8.7 RPG, and shooting 60.6% from the floor in his junior season. England is now 8th on Montana Tech's all-time leading scoring list.
Back at Home
Montana Tech returns to Kelvin Sampson Court for a four game home stand after playing their last four Frontier Conference contests on the road. The Diggers traveled to Great Falls, Havre, Helena, and Lewiston, Idaho over the last two weeks.

Montana Tech is receiving votes in the latest NAIA Top-25 Coaches' Poll. The last time the Orediggers were receiving votes was in the 2014-15 season.
