Scouting the Providence Argos
The Argos of the University of Providence enter the weekend with a 11-10 overall record and a 2-6 Frontier Conference record. The Argos dropped back-to-back contests this past weekend on the road against MSU-Northern 88-56 and at Montana Western 79-73. Providence is coached by Steve Keller who recently picked up his 300th career win as a collegiate head coach.
 
The Argos are led in scoring by Marcus Stephens (21.5 PPG), Brendan Howard (21.4 PPG), and Rashee Stocks (14.8 PPG). The Argos are the second highest scoring team in the Frontier Conference (76.8 PPG) behind only Montana Tech (77.5 PPG).
 
Scouting the MSU-Northern Lights
The Lights of MSU-Northern are 16-7 overall and 4-4 in Frontier Conference play. The Lights are coached by former Montana Tech player Shawn Huse. MSU-Northern is led in scoring by Mascio McCadney (18.9 PPG) and David Harris (16.9 PPG) who rank third and fourth in the Frontier Conference. Montana Tech defeated the Lights 75-66 in Havre two weeks ago after shooting 59.6% from the floor and leading 38-29 at the half.
 
Diallo Player of the Week
Oredigger senior Sindou Diallo earned the Frontier Conference's Player of the Week award after averaging 20.0 PPG, 6.0 RPG, and 4.5 APG in a pair of Digger home victories. Diallo is fifth in the Frontier Conference in scoring averaging 15.3 PPG.
 
Career Numbers
Senior post Taylor England has continued to climb up the all-time scoring list this season and sits in fourth place overall at 1,547 career points. England trails only three other Oredigger greats in Scott Witt (1,901), Adam Greger (1,867), and Jeff Bellach (1,778). England passed teammate Drew Huse's father Brad Huse (1,537) in the Diggers win over the Saints on Saturday. 
 
Two Top-10 Scorers
Offensively, Montana Tech is as enjoying the offensive firepower of a lineup that features two of the league's best scorers in Sindou Diallo (15.3 PPG) and Caleb Bellach (14.7 PPG). Montana Tech is leading the Frontier Conference averaging 77.5 PPG.
 
Making History

Montana Tech broke into the NAIA Coaches' Top-25 Poll for the first time in school history this week at No. 20.
