GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The No. 20 Montana Tech Men's Basketball team won their sixth straight game downing Providence 74-67.
The Orediggers (19-5, 8-1) trailed the Argos at halftime 29-26. After numerous lead changes in the second half,
Derrius Collins hit a three-pointer with 4:15 left to play in the game. Tech turned on offense in the final minutes to seal the victory.
Both teams started slow in the first half with the Orediggers shooting 33.3% from the field. The Orediggers shot 54.8% in the second half and hit 4 of 9 from deep.
Tech took advantage of 22 Argo turnovers netting 22 off of the miscues.
Sindou Diallo led Tech with 21 points, five assists, and three steals.
Caleb Bellach scored all of his 17 points in the second half.
Taylor England had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Brendan Howards led the Argos with 18 points and Marcus Stephens had 16.
Montana Tech hosts Montana State Northern at home this Saturday.
