Jeff Graham will also get his Oredigger career started this Friday with the Oredigger women's basketball team's first game of the season.
Coach Graham's debut as the Orediggers new head coach and first home game is against Dickinson State on Friday on Kelvin Sampson Court. The Orediggers tip-off against the Blue Hawks at 2 p.m. The Tech women do not return home until the first Frontier Conference game on December 1
st against Rocky Mountain College.
One of the teams scheduled to play at the Tip-Off Classic has withdrawn and game times have changed with the cancellation of Bacone (Okla.) at the tournament. The Orediggers were scheduled to play Bacone on Friday at 4 p.m. The Tech men will not play Friday and their game against Warner Pacific (Ore.) has been moved to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The schedule online has been updated to reflect the change.
Montana Western is also playing in the Tip Off Classic. Their game with Warner Pacific has moved to 4 p.m. on Friday. Western was scheduled to play Bacone on Saturday and that game has also been cancelled.
Friday is just the start of a busy weekend for Montana Tech athletics. The Oredigger volleyball team plays in the night cap against Montana State Northern at 7 p.m. The match is the final regular season contest as the Orediggers are playing for their third Frontier Conference regular season title under head coach Brian Solomon. The Oredigger football team has their final home game of the season Saturday at 1 p.m. against Montana Western.
