Scouting the No. 11 Fighting Saints
The rubber match between the Saints and the Orediggers will help crown the Frontier Conference champion after the Saints defeated the Diggers 80-78 in Helena on January 6 and then were bounced by the Diggers 73-58 in Butte on January 22.  The Saints have won their last four games since being dropped by the Diggers.
 
The Saints are led in scoring and rebounding by Jovan Sljivancanin (19.8 PPG, 10.8 RPG) and are the second leading scoring team in the Frontier Conference averaging 75.4 PPG.
 
Scouting the Providence Argos
The Argos have struggled to a 2-10 Frontier Conference and a 11-14 overall record this year, a year after winning the Frontier Conference and going 15-2 in a Frontier only schedule. The Argos have lost both games to the Diggers in Great Falls falling 76-66 and 74-67.
 
Providence is led in scoring by the Frontier Conference's leading scorer Marcus Stephens (21.1 PPG).

Almost All The Marbles
The Orediggers enter the final three games of the season with an  11-1 Frontier Conference record and travels to No. 11 Carroll College with the conference championship on the line. The Diggers will host their last two games against University of Providence on Saturday and MSU-Northern on Thursday the 17th.
 
Approaching a Milestone
Montana Tech's defensive lynchpin Derrius Collins has been one of the Frontier's best defensive players throughout his career. Now the senior is close to the 1,000 point threshold for his career. Collins has scored 945 points in 129 career games for the Orediggers.
 
Climbing Up
Montana Tech's Taylor England and Sindou Diallo are climbing up the Digger basketball record books for all-time scoring. England is now fourth all-time with 1,587 career points. Diallo is currently seventh all-time in just three seasons at 1,385 career points and is looking to pass Shawn Huse for sixth who sits at 1,389 career points.
