Scouting the No. 8 Saints
The Saints defeated MSU-Northern 71-63 Saturday to earn their way into the Frontier Conference Championship. Carroll's leading scorer Jovan Sljivancanin scored 22 points in the victory. Sljivancanin is second in the league in scoring averaging 19.7 points a game and leads in rebounding averaging 10.7 boards per outing. 

The Saints are second in the conference in scoring averaging 75.6 points a game and lead the league in rebounding averaging 33.9 rebounds a game. 

Against the Saints
Carroll won the regular season series winning two of the three games against Tech. The Orediggers lost both visits to the P.E. Center losing 80-78 in their first meeting in early January and 80-66 just a couple of weeks ago. Tech handed the Saints their last loss with a 73-58 victory on Kelvin Sampson Court. 

Last Second Heroics
In the semifinal round of the Frontier Conference Tournament, Montana Western tied the game with two free throws with 27 second left in the game against the Orediggers. Sindou Diallo drove to the basket scoring a go-ahead layup with a just seconds left on the clock. The bucket earned the Orediggers a ride to the Frontier Conference Championship 70-68. 

Pregame Social
A pregame social is being held at the Brewhouse Pub and Grille on Monday from 4:30-6:30 prior to the Frontier Conference Championship. Complimentary appetizers will be available as well as complimentary general admission tickets to the first 150 people that make a donation to the Legacy Fund.
