Scouting the No. 24 Saints
The Saints (7-6, 1-1) went 0-4 at the Cactus Classic and are likely hungry coming to Butte after the last meeting with the Orediggers was a loss in the Frontier Conference Tournament championship game. Sophomore guard Andrew Cook leads the Saints and the Frontier in scoring averaging 17.2 points a game while  shooting 55.4% from the field. Senior Jonny Hillman is third in the league averaging 14.6 points per game. Senior forward Brendan Temple leads the conference in rebounding grabbing 7.8 boards a game.
 
Scouting the Argos
The Argos (7-8, 1-1) won their last game 101-81 against Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, but have lost six of their last eight. The Argos opened the Frontier schedule with a double overtime 82-77 victory over MSU-Northern at home. Sophomore guard Kenny Curtis leads the Argos and is fourth in the conference in scoring averaging 14.3 points a game while shooting 45.5% from beyond the arc. Junior Eric Milner is sixth in the league in scoring averaging 13.7 points a game.
 
Wild Frontier—All teams are tied in conference play after the first two contests of the league schedule. Ranked No. 13 in the latest NAIA Coaches Top 25, the Orediggers won their first Frontier game 82-59 over Rocky before trailing the entire game and finally losing to Western 67-64. The No. 24 Saints downed the Bulldogs 76-65 and lost to MSU-Northern 66-62. Coming off their double-overtime win against the Lights, the Argos lost 90-72 to Rocky on the road.
 
Top Diggers—The Orediggers lead the Frontier in scoring averaging 83.4 points a game and are second allowing an average of 65 points a game to their opponents. Tech also leads the league in offensive (11.2), defensive (27.9), and total rebounds (39.1). The Orediggers are also leading the league in offensive efficiency and have the lowest turnover average in the nation giving up the ball only 8.1 times a game.
 
Bellach Factor—Junior  forward Caleb Bellach leads the Orediggers and is second in the league in scoring averaging 16.4 points a game this season. Bellach has a season high 25 points against Keyano University and is averaging 18.8 points a game in the last six. Bellach is shooting 44.7% from the field this season and hitting 78.2% of his free throws.
 
In the Paints—Sophomore Michael Ure and freshman Hayden Diekhans lead the Orediggers on the boards and are ranked fourth and fifth in the league in rebounds averaging 6.9 and 6.7 rebounds a game. Diekhans leads the Frontier in defensive boards averaging 5.1 a game and Ure is second in offensive boards with a 2.7 average.
