Oredigger Men's Track and Field Jump into the Top 25

Montana Tech enters the ranking at No. 24

NEW ORLEANS, La.- Spring has sprung, and so has the outdoor version of the 2024 NAIA Men's Outdoor National Track & Field Rating Index with its first edition released Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The Montana Tech men have jumped into the top 25, at No. 24.

 Only marks from the 2024 outdoor track & field season have been used for this objective list. Marian (Ind.) is No. 1 for the first time in program history, followed closely by Southeastern (Fla.). At No. 3 in the ranking is Our Lady of the Lake (Texas), The Master's (Calif.) checks in at No. 4, and St.Thomas (Fla.) round out the top five.

The Oredigger men were able to crack the Top 25 after a strong opening to the season in Billings two weeks ago, and in Missoula for the Al Manuel Invite this past week.

According to the ranking, the Orediggers finished the 2023 season at No. 42.
