BUTTE -- The Montana Tech women's basketball program's celebration of Elementary School Day Friday, December 19 will be an intrasquad exhibition.

The Orediggers, sporting a 10-1 record and a No. 14 ranking in the NAIA's coaches' poll, were originally scheduled to take on Briercrest, but the Clippers were unable to make it to Butte due to inclement weather in southern Canada.

Montana Tech elected to continue its Elementary School Day tradition despite the lack of an opponent and will now play host to hundreds of local students for a fun morning of intrasquad scrimmage and entertaining games in Valley Bank Arena.

Tip is still scheduled for 9 a.m., and admission will be free for all spectators.
