KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches bestowed academic honors on the Montana Tech men's basketball program, the organization announced Thursday morning.
Five Oredigger players —
Connor Michaud,
Ifeanyi Okeke,
Levi Torgerson,
Bridger Vogl, and
Michael Ure — earned spots on the 2024-25 NABC Honors Court, and the Montana Tech team earned the Team Academic Excellence award for the season.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.
Montana Tech's success in the classroom paired with another incredible season on the court. The Orediggers laid claim to both the Frontier Conference tournament and regular-season championships for the fourth-consecutive season. Tech ended the year with a 24-7 record and was ranked No. 21 in the last NAIA coaches' poll of the campaign.
