Jeff Graham are thrilled to announce the Orediggers' 2025-26 recruiting class.
Four newcomers will be joining Montana Tech on Kelvin Sampson Court this upcoming year:
Terryn Chirrick, Guard, 5-8, Roberts, Mont., Roberts HS
Major: Nursing
Prior Awards: Class C all-state and all-conference basketball, track & field, and cross country ... Academic all-state ... State champion in track & field and cross country ... Scored 1,000 career points.
Kylie Konen, Forward, 5-11, Dillon, Mont., Beaverhead County HS
Major: Exercise and Health Science
Prior Awards: Class A all-state and all-conference selection in basketball, volleyball, and softball ... Academic all-state.
Izzy Arave, Guard, 5-10, Blackfoot, Idaho, Blackfoot HS/College of Southern Idaho/Eastern Oregon University
Major: Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences
Prior Awards: First-team all-state and all-conference as a senior in high school ... State champion for Blackfoot HS ... Helped College of Southern Idaho win two conference championships and make an appearance in the NJCAA semifinals in 2023.
Vivian Kingston, Forward, 5-11, Buckley, Wash., White River HS
Major: Business
Awards: First-team All-WIAA in Class 2A in 2022, 2023 and Class 3A in 2025 ... Second-team All-2A in 2024 ... Scored 1,000 career points ... White River 3A athlete of the year and senior all-star ... Senior coaches' choice all-star game MVP
In addition to the four newcomers to the program, the Orediggers will also gain the services of a pair of junior transfers who sat out the 2024-25 campaign. Boulder native
Rachel Van Blaricom, who played formerly at MSU-Northern, becomes eligible after sitting a season per Frontier Conference rules. Nielson, a Kemmerer, Wyo. product who transferred from Utah State Eastern, spent last season recovering from injury.
Montana Tech is fresh off one of the most successful seasons in the program's history in 2024-25. After being picked last in the Frontier Conference's preseason poll, the Orediggers posted an 18-12 record, went 9-6 in Frontier play, and reached the NAIA national tournament for the first time in 14 seasons.
