Men's golf leads Providence Invitational after Day 1

GREAT FALLS -- Montana Tech's men's golf team stormed out to a lead on the first day of the 2025-26 season, carding team scores of 298 and 289 in Monday's first two rounds of the Providence Invitational. 

The Orediggers top the leaderboard by 13 strokes with 18 holes to play at Eagle Falls Golf Course. 

Joe McGreevey led the way for Montana Tech, shooting rounds of 74 and 70 to sit at 4 over par. Teammate Carson Hupka (74-71) sits a stroke behind.
