PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The Montana Tech men's golf team posted its best performance of the 2026 Frontier Conference tournament in Wednesday's final round, playing its way to fifth in the championship at Papago Golf Club.
Joe McGreevey again led the way for the Orediggers. The junior shot an even-par 72 on the 6,662-yard course, logging a team-best five birdies along the way. McGreevey finished eighth on the leaderboard with a three-round total of 10-over 226.
Colin Wade continued his strong play throughout the tournament with a second-straight score of 78. His tournament total of 234 put him tied for 16th.
Carson Hupka (78-82-81—241) came around in a tie for 28th,
Trey Mattson (83-84-80—247) finished in 32nd, and
Brenner Booth (85-81-89—255) was 36th.
Rocky Mountain collected the team title and NAIA national tournament berth with a team score of 10-over 874, and the Battlin' Bears' Kristjan Burkelca won medalist honors with his 4-under-par 212.
