BUTTE -- Montana Tech's women's cross country team logged five top-20 finishes Thursday en route to a third-place team result Thursday at the Butte Invitational.
All five Orediggers traversed the 6-kilometer course at Highland View Golf Course in under 26:30.
Freshmen Bria Ohs and Paige Braseth led the way for Montana Tech, both breaking the 26-minute mark for the first time in their careers. Ohs was 13th in 25:57.2, while Braseth followed .2 seconds later in 14th.
Sophomores Mya Green and Kendra Jensen followed right behind in 15th and 16th places, respectively, while sophomore Ryleigh Kleinke rounded out the Orediggers' scoring in 18th at 26:18.9.
The Orediggers finished comfortably in third with 76 points, 14 ahead of fourth-place Montana Western. MSU-Billings won the meet with 36 points, narrowly edging runner-up Carroll's 40.
Montana Tech's women's cross country team will take a break next week before heading to Billings for the conference preview meet at Amend Park, hosted by Rocky Mountain College.
