Helena, MT- A second half comeback for Montana Tech would fall just short as the Diggers fell to Corban University 65-63.
Corban University shot 43 percent from the field jumping out to an early 33-26 halftime advantage against the Orediggers.
Montana Tech would come storming out of the locker room to start the second half shooting 45 percent from the field and hitting six threes.

Bryan Bock three pointer would start Montana Tech's offense in the second half. Three pointers by
Trent Thompson and
Brandon Rydberg would cut the lead to 39-36 Corban early in the second half.
Bryan Bock would find
Brandon Rydberg in the corner for three to tie the game up for the first time with 14:23 left in the second half.
A
Brandon Rydberg three point play would give Montana Tech the lead at the 12:35 mark.
Late in the ballgame a Jordan Carter jumper would give Corban back the lead 60-59 but
Brandon Rydberg would respond with a leaping leaner of his own at the 3:25 mark to give Tech the lead back.
Both teams would trade baskets and an
Adam Greger jumper with 1:25 left would leave the Orediggers down 65-63 with just under a minute to play.
Tough defense would force a Corban University shot clock violation and give the Orediggers one last chance to square up the game or go for the win with 9.2 seconds left but a missed three point attempt would seal the loss for Montana Tech.
Brandon Rydberg would lead Montana Tech offensively scoring 24 points and going 4 for 6 from downtown.
Adam Greger was the only other Oredigger in double figures with 10 points.
Jordan Carter's 18 points would lead a balanced Warrior attack that had four players in double figures.
Montana Tech who drops to 4-3 will finish up the Carroll College Invitational playing Biola University tomorrow night at 5:30pm.Â
