Box Score BILLINGS- The Montana Tech Orediggers found themselves locked up in a close battle with Rocky Mountain College before falling late, 65-55.

In a game that saw Tech and Rocky trade punches for nearly the full 40 minutes the Diggers held the lead at the break 36-28. In Saturday night's contest, the lead changed 10 different times and the score was tied up at three different junctures. 

Montana Tech shot 38 percent from the floor while the Battlin' Bears shot 42 percent. The Diggers were 8-for-31 from three point land while Rocky was 4-for-18. 

The duo of Jake Miles and Chris O'Neill led Montana Tech with 13 and 12 points respectively. 

Montana Tech falls to 8-8 overall and 0-5 in Frontier Conference play and plays University of Providence Thursday night in Great Falls.
