BILLINGS, Mont.- The Montana Tech Orediggers jumper out to an 18-17 lead against Rocky Mountain College before the Battlin' Bears defeated the Diggers 74-53.
Montana Tech shot the ball well in the first quarter leading 18-17 through 10 minutes of action. Rocky led 34-29 at the half.
The Orediggers were led by
Dani Urick who had 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting.
Kaylee Zard chipped in 11 and
Mesa Williams added 10.
Rocky was led in scoring by Alecia Chamberlain who scored 17.
The Diggers return home to Butte and take on University of Providence on Friday night at 5:30 P.M.
