WHITEFISH, Mont. – The Frontier Conference announced that Montana Tech's
Mesa Williams is the Frontier Conference Player of the Week.
The Orediggers (3-0) defeated Salish Kootenai College 109-32 and College of Idaho 89-65 over the weekend. Williams, a 5-foot-10 junior forward, averaged 21.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in the two contests. The White Sulphur Springs product had a career high 31 points against the College of Idaho. Williams also had a career high in free throw attempts and makes going 12 of 13.
Montana Tech is home on Friday when they host Cal Maritime at 5 p.m.
