GREAT FALLS, Mont.—The No. 22 Argos of the University of Providence got their revenge on Montana Tech Saturday night in the McLaughlin Center, 76-57.
The Diggers had previously defeated the Argos twice in Butte but fell victim to poor shooting from the floor. Montana Tech shot just 37 percent and were 5-for-16 from three point land in the loss.
The Diggers were led in scoring by
Mollie Peoples who scored 23 points including a buzzer beating three at halftime. The Argos received a double-double from Parker Esary who had 16 and 14. The Argos shot 37 percent for the contest and improve to 17-9 overall and 6-8 in the Frontier.
Montana Tech (12-13, 2-12 Conf.) returns to action against Montana Western on Thursday night in Dillon at 5:30 P.M.
