BILLINGS, Mont. – The Rocky Mountain College B team snapped the Montana Tech's men's Frontier Conference winning streak besting the Orediggers by three strokes at Yegen Golf Club today.
Nolan Burzminski won the individual title for the Battlin' Bears B squad shooting a 2-under 69 in the 18-hole tournament. Oredigger freshman
JR Small shot finished in a three-way tie at 70 to lead Tech.
The Orediggers were three strokes back of the Battlin' Bears at a 290 to 287 for the tournament. Rocky's first team hit a 292 and MSU-Northern totaled a 338.
Jace Rhodes finished in T7 with a 72;
Jhett Braley shot a 73 for T9;
Sean Ramsbacher hit a 75 with a T12;
Matt Hobbs hit a 77 for T17; and
Trey Hoagland finished in 19
th place with a 78.
Montana Tech wins the regular season team title winning three of the four Frontier Conference tournaments this fall and marks the first regular season trophy for the Orediggers.
