WHITEFISH, Mont. – Frontier Conference Commissioner Kent Paulson announced Montana Tech placed three players on the 2019-20 All-Conference Women's Basketball team on Tuesday morning.

Mesa Williams was selected second team all-conference by the league's coaches while senior
Kaylee Zard and freshman
Tavia Rooney were selected honorable mention all-conference. Rooney was also selected the Frontier Conference Freshman of the Year.
Williams, a 5-10 forward from White Sulphur Springs, Mont., finished fourth in the Frontier Conference in scoring averaging 15.16 points per game. Williams shot 43.4% from the floor and 76.7% from the free throw line on the season. Williams reached double figures in 23 games and became the 18
th member of the women's basketball program's 1,000-point club.
Zard, a 6-0 forward from Forsyth, Mont., averaged 10.4 points per game and was seventh in the conference averaging 7.5 rebounds per game. Zard shot 45.8% from the floor and recorded three double-doubles this season.
Rooney, a 5-11 forward from Townsend, Mont., averaged a double-double over the course of the season averaging 11.0 points and a Frontier Conference leading 10.8 rebounds per game. Rooney shattered the single season rebounding record grabbing 337 total boards in her freshman campaign. Rooney also set the single game rebounding record collecting 22 rebounds against William Jessup (Calif.) on Nov. 22.
Montana Tech junior Meg Delaney was named the Champion of Character award winner for the Oredigger women's basketball program.
Montana Tech Women's Basketball finished their 2019-20 season with a 14-17 record but earned a pair of wins over Top-25 opponents in Frontier Conference play.
