Scouting the (RV) Bulldogs
The Montana Western Bulldogs are off to a 6-4 start to Frontier Conference play and are receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches Top 25 Poll despite losing three of their last four games. The Bulldogs lost on a buzzer-beating three to University of Providence last Sunday. Western is led in scoring by Brynley Fitzgerald (16.4 PPG), Shainey Mack (11.3 PPG), and Sydney Sheridan (10.2 PPG). Fitzgerald also leads the Bulldogs on the glass averaging 6.0 rebounds per game. Western is second in the Frontier Conference averaging 71.17 points per game and leads the Frontier in assists averaging 15.6 per contest.
Back on Home Turf
Montana Tech hosts Montana Western this weekend after spending the last two weekends on the road playing at Northern and at Carroll College. Montana Tech is averaging 62.6 points per game at home while averaging 58.1 points per game.
