The Oredigger golf team finished the 36-hole Yellowjacket Fall Invite in 5
th place.
Montana Tech cut thirteen strokes off of their 335 round Monday, to finish with a 322 Tuesday. Their 657 total was 19 strokes behind 4
th place MSU-Billings, and 22 strokes in front of 6
th place, University of Jamestown.
The tournament was won by Rocky Mountain College who finished with a two-day total of 605, Chadron State finished in second place, 18 strokes off the lead. In third place was the South Dakota School of Mines.
The individual tournament championship went to Valentina Zuleta from Rocky, who finished with a two-day total of 144 (even par). Jordan Grasis from Chadron was one stroke back in second place, and Tyla Potgieter from Rocky took third with a 151 (+7).
Montana Tech was paced by
Franchi Ceartin who finished with a 160 total (first-round 84, followed by a 76 Tuesday) Franchi finished in a four-way tie for 14
th place at +16.
Emma Woods finished in a tie for 19
th, shooting a 162 (+18),
Samantha Benson shot a 165 and finished in a tie for 22
nd place.
Kodie Hoagland shot a 170 (+26) that landed her in 30
th place.
