PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Montana Tech's women's golf team saw two players finish in the top 11 and gained a spot in the standings Wednesday in the final round of the Frontier Conference tournament.
Senior
Emma Woods led the way for the Orediggers at Papago Golf Club, completing her third trip around the par-72, 6,475-yard course at 11-over-par 83 to finish alone in third place, just five shots out of the individual title. Woods finished the tournament at 28-over 244.
Classmate
Kodie Hoagland wrapped up the tournament in a tie for 11th, shooting an 85 in her final collegiate round. The Butte native finished with a three-round total of 257.
Keni Wade wrapped up her fantastic freshman campaign in 16th at 263, and sophomore
Casha Corder totaled up 266 strokes to tie for 17th. Senior
Hayden Pride finished tied for 23rd at 276.
Montana Tech's women, fourth entering play Wednesday, jumped rival Carroll College to finish in third. Rocky Mountain College won the team championship, and RMC's Grace Metcalf was the tournament medalist.
