 Montana Tech's Tyler Avery has won the Erck Hotels Frontier Conference Golfer of the Week Award.   

Avery a freshman from Kalispell took home the win at the Yellowjacket Fall Invite in Billings last week. Shooting a final round 67 (-5) to finish the tournament at 209. (-7), Tyler was able to jump to the top of the leaderboard and stay there.

Entering the final round Tyler was sitting at -2, in a tie for second place. Out of the 51 golfers on the course for the final round, only five shot under par, and no one touched Tyler.

He finished the day with one bogie, four birdies, and an eagle on the 550-yard, par 5, 2^nd hole.

That tournament marks the end of the Orediggers fall schedule, they will get back on the courses when snow melts. Until then it's time to hit the simulators.
