WHITEFISH, Mont. – The Frontier Conference announced the 2022-23 Women's Basketball All-Conference Teams today.
Tavia Rooney was selected first team all-conference and
Dani Urick was named honorable mention and selected for the all-defensive team.
Rooney, a forward from Townsend, Montana, is appearing on the all-conference team for the second time, but this is her first time as a first team selection. Rooney was third in the conference this season in scoring averaging 14.3 points a game and ranked second in rebounds with a 7.3 average. Rooney averaged 2.6 assists and 1.5 steals a game.
Urick, a guard from Belt, Montana, is making her third appearance on the all-conference teams. Urick received second team and an honorable mention awards previously. Urick averaged 7.9 points a game this season while shooting 35.7% from the field. She averaged 4.5 rebounds and 3.7 defensive boards a game. Urick averaged 1.9 assists and was ninth in the league in steals with a 1.3 average per game.
