LAUREL -- Montana Tech's women's golf team held serve Tuesday on its way to a runner-up finish at Rocky Mountain College's Beartooth Invitational at Laurel Golf Club.
Senior Emma Woods and sophomore Casha Corder led the Orediggers in Round 2 of the tournament, carding team-best 6-over-par 78s. Woods finished fourth with a two-day score of 80-78—158, while Corder wrapped up a stroke behind at 81-78—159.
Freshman Keni Wade (83-82—165) and senior Kodie Hoagland (81-85—166) also played their ways into the top 15, and senior Hayden Pride (86-82—168) took 17th.
Freshman Olivia McGreevey (98-89—187, 31st) and sophomore Delaney Clark (97-93—190, t-32nd) also represented the Orediggers.
Tech wrapped up the two-day event with team scores of 325 and 320 to finish 69 over par. The Orediggers were 28 strokes behind champion Rocky Mountain and 14 strokes ahead of third-place Bellevue.
