HELENA -- Three Montana Tech men's basketball players garnered Academic All-Frontier Conference honors, presented by Billings Clinic and Logan Health, the league office announced Thursday.
Connor Michaud,
Reese Paulson, and
Eli Quinn all met the qualifications for the Orediggers.
Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in standing and carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA to be eligible for the honor. The Frontier honored 86 student-athletes from the league's 12 programs.
The Oredigger men's basketball team carries a 21-7 record into postseason play. Tech will be the No. 5 seed in this weekend's Frontier tournament and will play rival and fourth-seeded Montana Western in the quarterfinal round Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Butte Civic Center. The Orediggers are in search of a fifth-consecutive conference tournament championship.
