CLARKSTON, Wash. -- Three Montana Tech women's golfers earned top-10 finishes, helping the Orediggers to a third-place team finish Tuesday after Round 2 of the Warrior Spring Classic, hosted by Lewis-Clark State.
Senior
Kodie Hoagland was the low woman for Tech, shooting 84 to go with her first-round 79 to total 19-over-par 163 on the tournament, good enough for seventh place at the par-72, 5,802-yard Red Wolf Golf Club.
Freshman
Keni Wade posted the best Oredigger score in Round 2, shooting a 9-over-81 on Tuesday. Paired with her Round 1 83, Wade and senior
Emma Woods (79-85) tied for eighth at 164 strokes.
Sophomore
Casha Corder followed in 15th (88-83—171), senior
Hayden Pride (88-89—177) took 19th, and sophomore
Delaney Clark (99-96—195) finished 25th.
The Orediggers finished with a two-day team score of 662, just three shots out of second-place College of Idaho. Host LC State won the tournament at 36-over 612, and the Warriors' Jane Barry won medalist honors at 6-over 150.
Montana Tech will now start preparing for next month's Frontier Conference championship, set for April 28-29 at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix, Ariz.
